Cj Lamoreux

regional Director of sport

CJ Lamoreux has been a dedicated leader within the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) since June 2016. In May 2024, he was promoted to Pacific Southwest (PSW) Regional Director of Sport, where he oversees and expands FCA’s sports ministry across the region, equipping coaches and athletes to integrate faith into competition.

During his time with FCA, CJ has played a key role in expanding sports ministry efforts, particularly in soccer. Under his leadership, FCA launched three additional soccer clubs, now serving over 500 players and 30+ coaches. Additionally, he helped establish an FCA soccer league, a volleyball league, a Soccer College ID Camp, and a College Preseason Training Camp, which includes NCAA Division II and JUCO teams. These initiatives provide athletes with high-level competition and development while fostering spiritual growth.

Prior to joining FCA, CJ was the founder of Palm Desert Soccer Club, where he successfully grew the program to over 350 players. His leadership and vision helped establish the club as a strong player development program in the region. The club was recently absorbed by SURF Soccer Club, one of the most elite youth soccer organizations in the country, a testament to the foundation and impact CJ built within the soccer community.

Before stepping into his regional leadership role, CJ served as the Coachella Valley Metro Area Director, where he was instrumental in growing FCA’s influence through local sports programs. His passion for mentorship and discipleship has impacted countless athletes and coaches, reinforcing FCA’s mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

CJ is married to Shannon Lamoreux, and together they have two children, Gianna and Preston. He is deeply committed to his faith, family, and the mission of FCA, using sports as a platform to transform lives for Christ.
